EMET Guardian is a browser extension developed by Emet Labs that analyzes Solana transactions for security risks before you sign them. This policy explains how we handle your data.

The short version: EMET Guardian does not collect, store, or transmit any user data. Everything runs locally on your device.

Data We Collect

None. EMET Guardian does not collect any personal information, browsing history, wallet addresses, transaction data, or any other user data.

How the Extension Works

EMET Guardian operates entirely on your local device:

Transaction analysis is performed client-side in your browser
Risk detection rules are built into the extension code
Safe program allowlists (Jupiter, Raydium, etc.) are bundled locally
No data is ever sent to external servers
No analytics or telemetry of any kind

Third-Party Services

EMET Guardian does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or analytics platforms. The extension makes zero network requests.

Permissions

The extension requires certain browser permissions to function:

activeTab: To detect when you interact with Solana dApps and display security warnings
scripting: To inject the transaction monitoring script that intercepts signature requests
Host permissions: To operate on dApp websites where you connect your wallet

These permissions are used solely to analyze transactions locally. No data leaves your browser.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change how we handle data, we will update this policy and the "last updated" date above. Any significant changes will be communicated through the extension update notes.
